Three years back when I entered the gates of this college I found people around me who were very much analogous to each other, with a universal intention of performing well in the college and then moving out with some respectable job in their hand and do something remarkable that nobody has ever done before or maybe something that will help them in gaining some fame or accolades, but now as I am heading towards the end of this memorable journey I can very clearly notice the division of once unified and focussed junta into diverse streams.
At present there are four different types of people that I come across everyday around me ; firstly the ones who are slogging day in day and day out and preparing for CAT and other B school exams and hoping to get through one of these because of a reason of their own ( money , fame , recognition , achievement ,means of getting rid of the technical stuff etc etc……) , second are the ones who are giving/preparing for GRE and doing some phodu projects to enhance their chances of an admit in some good uni( I really respect these guys for their perseverance and dedication towards the technical stuff) , third are the ones who have just tasted what it likes to be placed i.e. to have a job and want to enjoy it for a little more time, in short they are the ones who are doing nothing but enjoying their last 2 sems in the college and doing everything that they wished they would do in the college but somehow couldn't do it maybe because of some kind of time constraints or any other freaking reason ; finally we come down to the fourth category which consists of people who don't have a job yet ( I seriously hope that they get some decent job before they move out from this place).
PS: there is another category (read as: MORONS) who are a part of the first category only but they can be distinguished from the rest on the basis of their reason for giving CAT, the reason as I heard from one of the morons goes like this “kaafi free time hai aajkal aur sab log CAT de rahein hain to humne socha ki hum bhi de dein” ……..
You might be thinking about the reason of this post, frankly speaking it’s NOTHING!!! ….just wanted to write down something…
